Job summary

Avina is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our team across Brisbane North and the Moreton Bay region, supporting NDIS participants to achieve meaningful communication goals. You’ll work across home, school, community and telehealth settings with flexible caseloads, built around your location and clinical interests, with structured supervision and opportunities to develop your professional areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology required.
Current Speech Pathology Australia membership or eligibility.
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct Speech Pathology assessments and deliver evidence-informed intervention.
Support communication, language, social communication and mealtime goals.
Develop functional, person-centred therapy plans aligned with participant goals.
Work flexibly across home, school, community and telehealth settings.
Collaborate with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Manage your caseload and schedule with flexibility and autonomy.
