Job summary

Plena Healthcare seeks an adult-serving Speech Pathologist to join our team of mobile clinicians. You will assess and intervene in dysphagia and communication for adults in residential aged care and the community, with open opportunities for graduates and experienced clinicians.

You will work under the state team leader, travel may be required, and you’ll access internal supervision and professional development allowances. A supportive, values-led environment awaits in Adelaide North/East.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in Speech Pathology with active membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
• Willingness/ability to travel to regional locations.
• Driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Open to both graduates and experienced clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Manage your calendar of appointments with flexible hours/locations.
• Assess swallowing and communication difficulties in adults.
• Potential for national travel to support regional clients.
• Provide telehealth-based dysphagia/communication assessments and interventions.
• Liaise with the national team of Speech Pathologists.
• Advocate for clients’ communication needs.
• Collaborate with staff and colleagues to meet care requirements.
• Provide consultative and educational support to clients and families.
