Job summary

PIRTEK Yatala is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform responsive field service and repair of plant and machinery across sites in Yatala and surrounding areas. You will replace hoses in breakdowns and undertake new installations with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires a hands-on trades background, hydraulic knowledge, and a willingness to travel, with overtime and a 24-hour on-call roster. Full product and job training provided; relocation to Yatala is encouraged.

Qualifications

Trade/field service experience in fitting or mechanical roles.
Experience with hydraulic systems is advantageous.
Willing to travel to sites in Yatala and surrounds.
Must have a current manual driver's licence and willingness to obtain LR licence.
Able to work overtime and on a 24‑hour on‑call roster.
Strong numeracy and effective written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality field service and repair of plant and machinery.
Travel to sites within Yatala and surrounding areas to replace hoses or complete installations.
Provide solutions and build relationships with customers.
Report to Operations Manager and participate in the on-call roster.
