Job summary

Pirtek Ballarat is seeking a Mobile Service Technician who will deliver on-site hydraulic hose replacements and installations across Ballarat and nearby areas. You will travel to client sites, perform hands-on maintenance, and provide reliable field service while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role demands a trade/field services background, strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Trade / field services experience in Fitting / Mechanical Background and/or Hydraulics.
Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately.
Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills.
A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
Desire to be a team player.
Ability to arrange and plan priorities.
Anticipate problems and be pro-active in finding solutions.
Strong understanding of customer service.
Have an understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices.
Ability to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

Deliver consistent, accurate field service and supply of hydraulic fluid transfer solutions.
Travel to sites within Ballarat and surrounding areas to replace hoses or install machinery.
Build relationships with a range of customers and provide effective solutions.
Be available for overtime and participate in a 24-hour on-call roster, reporting to the Operations Manager.
