Job summary

mycar is seeking a hands-on Leading Hand Mechanic to work on the tools and guide a small workshop team. You will support the Store Manager by directing workflow and allocating jobs to keep the workshop efficient and focused on quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has senior technician or supervisory experience, holds a Certificate 3 in Automotive Technician (Light), a valid Australian driver's licence, and is available to work every second Saturday.

Position Overview

A hands-on role, where you'll be on the tools as well as a providing direction to a small team. As a Leading Hand Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled mechanics while assisting the Store Manager with efficient workflow and job allocation through the workshop.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience within the automotive industry, particularly senior technicians or supervisors.
