Equans UK & Ireland in Liverpool is seeking a Mobile Service BMS Engineer to join our Digital business, covering parts of Liverpool and the surrounding areas on a full time basis. At Equans Digital, we aren't just upgrading Building Management Systems; we're collaborating with the UK's commercial and public sectors to build a 'Smart Enabled' future.

You will have the opportunity to develop beyond the Service Engineer role into Operational Management, Project Management, Estimating and Business

Qualifications

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS required.
• Experience with HVAC and mechanical systems in commercial environments preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence and BPSS vetting required.

Responsabilités

• Preventative maintenance: scheduled checks on BMS systems across sites.
• Reactive calls: respond to breakdowns; part of on-call rota with financial benefits.
• Continuous improvement: produce reports and cost estimates for system enhancements.

Equans is looking for a Mobile Service BMS Engineer to join our Digital business, covering parts of Liverpool and the surrounding areas on a full time basis. At Equans Digital, we aren't just upgrading Building Management Systems; we're collaborating with the UK's commercial and public sectors to build a 'Smart Enabled' future. Supported by an ambitious 5-year growth strategy and projects ranging up to £1.5m, we are looking for a team to help us grow sustainably.

We also offer excellent opportunities to develop beyond the Service Engineer role, enabling employees that wish to grow with us and move into Operational Management, Project Management, Estimating and Business Development.

Key activities

• Preventative Maintenance: Carrying out scheduled maintenance checks on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across various sites.
• Reactive Calls: Responding to breakdowns when things go wrong. This role involves participating in a reactive call-out rota, which includes additional financial benefits for on-call availability and attendance.
• Continuous Improvement: Working with other engineer colleagues to help make recommendations to our clients to enhance system performance and energy efficiency. This will require teams to complete thorough reports and build up clear cost estimates & quotes for system enhancements.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical or BEMS
• Knowledge and Experience of at least one of the following (additional training can be provided depending on the area requirements at a later date):

  • Niagara
• Knowledge & experience of HVAC and mechanical systems in a commercial environment
• Full UK Driving License
• BPSS vetting
