Job summary

NSW Health in Mount Druitt is seeking an experienced Primary School Dental Program Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the Mobile Dental Service across Western Sydney. You will oversee administrative functions, coordinate school-based clinics and manage staff, equipment and resources to ensure timely, high-quality dental care for children in their schools.

Working with the Head of Unit and a multidisciplinary team, you will drive service excellence, support quality improvement

Qualifications

• Proven effective leadership and management skills.
• High level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing a team in a health service environment.
• Capacity to organise workload in a high-volume, demanding setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operational coordination of the Mobile Dental Service across Western Sydney.
• Oversee administrative operations, coordinate school-based clinics and manage staff, equipment and resources.
• Coordinate bookings, schedules and service delivery in line with NSW Health policies.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure clear communication with schools, principals, parents and guardians.
• Support the management of budgets, assets and fleet to enable safe, efficient operations.
• Contribute to accreditation requirements, policy compliance, risk management and continuous service improvement.
• Ensure dental teams have the materials and support needed, including setup and dismantling of mobile clinic infrastructure.
