Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking an experienced Primary School Dental Program Operations Manager to coordinate its Mobile Dental Service across Western Sydney, delivering accessible dental care to school children in Mount Druitt and surrounding areas.

You will lead day-to-day operations, manage staff and resources, and work with schools and communities to ensure high-quality, safe and efficient service delivery in line with NSW Health standards.

Qualifications

• Proven effective leadership and management skills in a health service environment.
• High-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing a team in a high-volume, demanding setting with competing priorities.
• Experience using patient information databases and liaising with Digital Health/IT services.
• Hold a current Class C Licence and be willing to drive fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational coordination of the Mobile Dental Service across Western Sydney.
• Oversee administrative operations and staff, equipment and resources management.
• Coordinate school-based clinics and manage bookings, schedules and service delivery.
• Support accreditation, policy compliance, risk management and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adequate materials, equipment and operations for mobile clinics.
