Job summary

WPC Group is offering a Mobile Plant Technology Apprenticeship in Scoresby, VIC. You will assist technicians with servicing and repairs on forklifts and other plant machinery, diagnosing tech issues and maintaining equipment while learning from experienced mentors.

This 4-year apprenticeship includes theory studies, a strong focus on safety, and opportunities for career progression within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about a career in mobile plant technology.
• Demonstrate initiative and a desire to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Hold a current and valid drivers licence.
• Commitment to a 4-year apprenticeship including theory studies.

Responsibilities

Are you looking to enter into the world of mobile plant technology but finding it hard without any prior experience? This apprenticeship could be perfect for you!

WPC Group are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work on new and used forklifts as well as other plant machinery. Develop your skills and grow with a well-established international company who have over 50 years of experience within the material handling industry. Assist qualified technicians in the repairs, services, troubleshooting and diagnosis of a range of different sizes and models of forklifts.

This apprenticeship will be based in Scoresby, VIC and could be your first step into an exciting career with the prospect of career progression within the company

About the Mobile Plant Technology Apprenticeship:

• Assist qualified technicians in servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Service and maintenance of machinery
• Carry out repairs
• Operate equipment safely and use safe work habits while performing the job function
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of tools
