Job summary

Select Plant Australia, part of the Laing O''Rourke group, is recruiting a passionate Mechanical Fitter (Mobile Plant) based at Sunshine West Depot. You will maintain, service and repair civil construction machinery including excavators, loaders, cranes, telehandlers, and generators.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Heavy/Civil Plant Mechanic.
• Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on civil plant and equipment.
• Attend onsite maintenance and breakdowns as required.
• Prepare accurate service and breakdown reports.
• Identify parts to carry out repairs and ensure safety standards.
• Comply with health and safety policies.
• Coordinate with workshop team for guidance.
