Job Connect is seeking motivated Mechanical Assemblers for our Brisbane Hendra workshop. You will work alongside experienced teams, assembling mechanical components and equipment for cranes, installing parts and hydraulics, and following assembly instructions to ensure quality builds.

No trade certificate required; a good mechanical understanding and confidence with tools are essential. On‑site, with training and overtime opportunities, in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Move across production areas as cranes progress toward completion.

Job Connect is recruiting Mechanical Assemblers to join a leading international manufacturer of high quality mobile plant and machines at their modern Hendraworkshop.

What Will You Be Doing?

Working alongside experienced team members, you'll be involved in various stages of crane manufacturing, including:

• Fitting and assembling mechanical components and equipment
• Installing parts, accessories and mechanical assemblies
• Working with hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
• Assisting with the installation of hydraulic and other mechanical systems
• Following assembly instructions to build and fit components correctly
• Working across different production areas as cranes progress towards completion

You'll receive on-the-job training and have opportunities to develop your skills across different areas of the manufacturing process.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're not necessarily looking for someone with a trade certificate or years of factory experience.

We're looking for someone who genuinely knows their way around mechanical equipment and tools.

Your experience could come from:

• Cars, 4WDs or engines – servicing, repairs, modifications or rebuilding
• Boats and marine equipment – fitting components, repairs or mechanical work
• Caravans, trailers or campers – building, maintaining or installing equipment
• Mechanical workshops – trade assistant, workshop hand or assembly experience
• Machinery or equipment maintenance – replacing parts, servicing or mechanical repairs
• Hands-on mechanical projects – practical experience building, repairing or restoring equipment

You don't need to have done all of these things. If you have a good mechanical understanding, can confidently use tools and know how things go together, we want to talk to you.

You'll also need reliable transport, full Australian working rights, the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a genuine interest in long-term employment.
