Job summary

Inter Industrial in Dandenong South is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for ongoing casual work. The role involves assembling components on new assemblies using powered hand tools in a modern facility. Applicants should have 1-2 years of heavy automotive vehicle experience and be capable of lifting up to 20 kg. Standard hours are 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Australian work rights are required; interviews will be held at the Knoxfield branch as part of the selection process.

Job description

We are currently looking for a MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER for our client located in Dandenong South. $36.30 casual/hr

Australian work rights are required for this position.

You will ideally have Heavy Automotive Vehicle experience and be looking for ongoing work. Assembly is all on NEW components, so the work is very clean and all done within modern new premises. Some lifting is involved but the majority of the work involves the use of powered hand tools using lifting aides.

Candidates must have 1-2 years of heavy automotive vehicle experience.

Employees may be required to lift up to 20kg.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;

• Mechanical Assembly
• Powered impact tools
• Good language and reading skills
• Strong OHS practices

This in an ongoing role 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday
