Job summary

Active Ability in Sydney is seeking a mobile New Graduate Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality NDIS-funded OT services full time, locally in Sydney. The role involves assessing functional capacity, providing home and community-based OT, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based interventions.

The New Graduate Program offers 16 weeks of focused clinical support and a 5-year development track, starting in early 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current AHPRA registration (or plan to apply for).
• A driver’s license.
• Demonstrated placement experience assisting with conducting assessments and delivering OT interventions for people with disability.

Responsibilities

• Assess functional capacity and daily living skills and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Provide face-to-face OT support—at home and in the community.
• Implement evidence-based therapies for NDIS participants and their support team.
• Produce functional capacity assessments and end of intervention reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to design and deliver integrated care.
