Job summary

TikTok Australia is seeking software engineers to join the Multimedia Arch-Live Arch-Client-Pull SDK team. You will develop and maintain the live client SDK to support TikTok’s real-time streaming, focusing on stability, performance, and user experience.

You will write mobile code in C/C++ or Java, review requirements, optimize performance, and contribute to automated testing to ensure quality and reliability of the SDK as we push the boundaries of live video technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Software Development, CS, or related field.
• Proficiency in writing and reviewing code in mobile C/C++ or Java.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in audio/video systems and willingness to ramp up quickly.

Responsibilities

• Developing mobile audio and video in live player SDK, and continuously improving performance.
• Participate in feature requirements reviewing, code writing, and performance optimization.
• Participate in formulation of coding specifications, improvement of software development productivity.
• Participate in construction of automation testing systems, to ensure the quality and stability of SDK.
