Job summary

TikTok is seeking a results-driven software engineer to join the Live Revenue Engineering Team in Sydney. You will design and optimize real-time, high-performance distributed systems that serve billions of users and creators worldwide.

You will collaborate with product managers to deliver monetization features, lead large-scale projects, and influence engineering strategy, tooling, and processes while growing technical excellence across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience designing and developing scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java or C++.
• Strong understanding of computer architecture, data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge of databases and messaging frameworks such as MySQL, Redis, and Kafka.
