Job summary

Northeast Auto Group (Northeast Trackers and Machinery) is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy equipment and deliver top-tier customer service on-site with a mobile team.

You'll perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and service reporting for customer machinery; maintain parts and tooling; assist Sales with technical support. Pre-employment checks may be required as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Mobile Plant Technology (essential)
• Australian Drivers licence (essential)
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role (essential)
• Experience with trucks and earth moving equipment (desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• A commitment to workplace safety and compliance

Responsibilities

• Carrying out troubleshooting, preventative and scheduled maintenance of customers assets
• Maintaining the levels of all required materials and tooling
• Complying with the maintenance management systems
• Diagnosing mechanical faults
• Providing technical support to the Sales Team when required
