Job summary

Bunzl Australasia is seeking a Field Service Technician for Bunzl Safety & Lifting Gladstone to inspect and test lifting and rigging equipment, produce test reports, and travel to client sites, including mines. The role involves working on site and in our workshop with full training provided.

You will be mechanically minded with experience in production or equipment servicing, have rigging qualifications and WH&S knowledge, and be willing to travel and work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with experience in production, manufacturing, or equipment servicing.
• Background in lifting, rigging, or height safety preferred.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect lifting, rigging, and height safety equipment on site and in workshops.
• Produce and test chain slings and wire ropes and issue compliance reports.
• Travel to client sites, including mines, with paid overtime and travel allowances.
• Support production and warehouse tasks as needed.
