Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting for a Mobile Field Service Fitter to support our client’s recycling operations across NSW. The role is based out of Blacktown and involves servicing multiple sites with a fully maintained company truck, fuel card and E-tag.

The position requires weekend work on Saturdays and offers a fixed field service allowance. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy mobile and fixed plant, including hydraulics and pneumatics, with a strong safety focus and

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of safe working practices in maintenance service work.
• Ability to diagnose and repair plant and equipment across sites.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with KPI focus.
• Familiar with Australian Standards and codes for property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diverse machinery at multiple sites.
• Test, inspect and diagnose faults in plant and equipment.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance including shutdown work.
• Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, aiming to improve reliability.

Education

Australian Recognized Trade Qualification as a Fitter (mechanical)
