Job summary

The Sydney EP is seeking Accredited Exercise Physiologists to join its mobile health team across Greater Sydney. This contractor role offers flexibility to deliver evidence-based exercise interventions in homes, aged care facilities, workplaces, and community venues.

You will assess clients, create tailored exercise plans, and coordinate with GPs and other health professionals while upholding ESSA standards and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

• Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with ESSA
• First Aid and CPR certification
• National Police Check
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence with ability to travel Across Greater Sydney
• ABN and ability to work as an independent contractor

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing reviews.
• Develop individualised exercise programs based on clinical needs and goals.
• Deliver exercise physiology services in community and home-based settings.
• Support clients under Medicare, DVA, NDIS, Support At Home, WorkCover, CTP, private referrals.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Complete high-quality clinical notes and reports within required timeframes.
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, support coordinators, case managers, employers.

About the Role:

We are seeking passionate and motivated Accredited Exercise Physiologists to join our growing mobile health team across Greater Sydney. This contractor position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering evidence-based exercise interventions directly within the community. Services may be provided in clients' homes, residential aged care facilities, workplaces, community centres, gyms, and other suitable locations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and committed to improving health outcomes for individuals living with chronic conditions, injuries, disabilities, and age-related health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing reviews.
• Develop individualised exercise programs based on clinical needs and goals.
• Deliver exercise physiology services in community and home-based settings.
• Support clients under Medicare, DVA, NDIS, Support At Home, WorkCover, CTP, private health, and private referral pathways.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as required.
• Complete high-quality clinical notes and reports within required timeframes.
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals, support coordinators, case managers, employers, and other stakeholders.
• Promote safe exercise participation and client self-management strategies.
• Maintain professional standards in accordance with ESSA guidelines and legislation
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology.
• Current ESSA Accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current National Police Check.
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
• Reliable motor vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Greater Sydney.
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
• ABN and ability to work as an independent contractor.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
