Job summary

uWorkin is seeking a reliable cleaner to service various locations in Mount Isa and surrounding areas. You will clean activity rooms, amenities and shared spaces, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.

This role involves dusting, vacuuming, mopping and spot-cleaning doors and windows, and safely using chemicals, equipment and machinery. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and valid working rights in Australia are required; a smartphone for work communication and a driver’s license are

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential).
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A smartphone for work communication.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Driver's licence and own car (preferred).
• Willing to obtain a Police Check or Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean activity rooms, amenities, and shared spaces
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as handles and switches
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean doors and windows
• Safely use chemicals, equipment, and machinery
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and kneeling
• Follow all OH&S policies and procedures
• The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to cover additional locations if required.
