Job summary

DWS Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Test Manager to lead testing and quality engineering across mobile and web platforms. This hands-on leadership role defines automation strategies, builds scalable frameworks, mentors teams, and drives automation-first practices in a large enterprise program.

The role requires strong automation skills on iOS/Android, WebdriverIO, Appium, Playwright, Selenium, and CI/CD integration within DevOps.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering automated testing solutions for mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Expert-level with WebdriverIO and Appium for mobile automation.
• Strong experience with Playwright and Selenium for web automation.
• Experience building scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and QA principles.
• Experience testing customer-facing digital products and self-service platforms.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
• Experience with GitHub and source control practices.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the overall test automation strategy and roadmap.
• Lead and mentor automation testing teams across multiple projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across mobile and web platforms.
• Establish QA standards, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, product owners, and project managers to achieve quality objectives.
• Review test plans, cases, scripts, and execution outcomes.
• Track and report progress, metrics, risks, and defects.
