Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Mission Software Solutions team, in either Melbourne, Victoria or Canberra. This on-site role requires Australian citizenship and an active TSPV clearance.

You will contribute across the software development lifecycle, delivering reliable, secure software for defence and government customers. You will collaborate with software engineers, architects and business analysts to design, develop, test, integrate and deploy quality software

Qualifications

Design innovative software solutions for complex problems.
Participate in and lead agile story development and estimation.
Contribute to Continuous Integration and automation.
Integrate and deploy complex systems using SecDevOps practices.
Develop web-focused UI and UX evolution.
Research, prototype, investigate and develop new technologies.
Apply solid software engineering principles and secure development practices.
Develop and maintain unit and integration tests and test automation.
Investigate defects and implement effective fixes.

Responsibilities

Design software solutions for complex problems in defence and government projects.
Lead agile story development and estimation within multidisciplinary teams.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Develop and deploy web-focused UI components and improve UX.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
