Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking experienced Technical and Engineering Leaders to drive Defence & Intelligence offerings in Australia, with roles in Melbourne and Canberra. You will shape technical strategy, form high-performing teams and deliver mission-critical capabilities across secure environments that support national security objectives.

Qualifications

• Led people through complexity across diverse technical disciplines to deliver outcomes that matter.
• Created environments where engineers, architects, developers and specialists can grow and thrive.
• Operated at the intersection of technology, customers and delivery to translate ideas into practical solutions.
• Deep expertise in at least one Defence & Intelligence domain (mission systems, geospatial, cyber, cloud, ICT).
• Mentored future leaders and built long-term team capability.
• Australian citizen holding at least NV1 clearance and able to obtain TSPV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, delivery and sustainment of complex Defence & Intelligence systems across software, cloud, cyber and ICT.
• Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams across engineering, software, infrastructure, cloud, testing, automation, AI and data.
• Collaborate with Defence customers and program leaders to translate operational challenges into secure, scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to shape capability roadmaps and long-term customer outcomes.
