Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a Paint & Blast Supervisor to support our Coastal & West Pilbara Operations Core Crew on Rio Tinto's CLA Wharf project. The role leads the Paint and Blast works, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to budget while coordinating with multiple disciplines.

This casual position operates on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha. Experience in marine projects and Rio Tinto procedures is highly valued, with opportunities for mentoring and career development within

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of supervision experience in mining and minerals in this discipline.
• Australian Qualified Trade Certificate is required.
• NACE preferred.
• Previous marine project experience is desirable.
• Familiar with Rio Tinto processes and procedures.
• Proof of Right to Work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the Paint & Blast crew working on the wharf.
• Collaborate between disciplines to complete remediation works successfully.
• Act as a first point of contact for crew seeking leadership and support.
• Liaising effectively between the crew and our client.

Monadelphous is seeking a Paint & Blast Supervisor to support our Coastal & West Pilbara Operations Core Crew. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Marine Structural Integrity project on Rio Tinto's CLA Wharf as a crucial member of the team. This project is dedicated to the remediation of corrosion to the wharf through blast & paining and welding disciplines. The successful candidate will oversee and supervise paint and blast works on the wharf, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively, within budget, and to highest standards of quality and safety. This is a casual position on a 2:1 roster, FIFO from Perth to Karratha. We encourage First nations people and female applicants to apply.
