Job summary

Council Jobs is seeking a Directorate Liaison Officer within the Governance and Business Improvement Branch. Ideal candidates will have strong stakeholder engagement, a track record in ministerial or executive coordination, and eligibility to work in the ACT Public Service.

Qualifications

• Experience in ministerial, parliamentary, executive coordination or Directorate Liaison Officer environments is highly desirable.
• Experience using Content Manager (TRIM) or similar records management system is desirable.
• To be eligible for employment within the ACT Public Service, applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa.
• Current Baseline Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
• Successful applicants will be expected to commence in the role before the end of the current calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-profile and time-sensitive requests between Ministers' Offices and the Directorate.
• Provide advice on government processes and ensure delivery of accurate, responsive and high-quality information.
• Engage with Ministers' Offices, Cabinet Office, the Legislative Assembly and senior executives to support government decision-making.
