The ACT Government is seeking Directorate Liaison Officers to join the Ministerial Services Unit in Canberra. This is a temporary 12-month role that supports ministerial coordination and government decision-making through timely, accurate information and high-quality briefings.

You will work at the heart of ministers’ offices, coordinating requests, advising on processes, and building productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in ministerial, parliamentary, executive coordination or Directorate Liaison Officer environment is highly desirable.
• Experience using Content Manager (TRIM) or a similar records management system is desirable.
• To be eligible for employment within the ACT Public Service, applicants must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a valid work visa.
• Current Baseline Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
• Successful applicants will commence in the role before the end of the current calendar year.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate ministerial correspondence and briefings, Cabinet and Assembly business, whole-of-government requests and other priority matters.
• Act as a liaison point between Ministers' Offices and the Directorate, ensuring delivery of accurate, responsive information.
• Provide advice on government processes and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
