Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking a Yardperson to maintain the yard and support site logistics at a residential location in West Wyalong and nearby communities. You will handle materials and equipment, ensuring a safe and organised working environment on a long-term project.

The role requires a current manual driver's licence, physical fitness, and a proactive work ethic. Experience in mining or heavy industry is a plus; forklift certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Current Manual Driver's Licence (Essential).
• Previous yardperson, stores, labouring or similar role experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised yard environment.
• Assist with receiving, unloading and dispatching materials and equipment. Conduct general housekeeping and yard maintenance duties.
• Support tradespeople and operational personnel as required.
• Operate site vehicles and equipment in accordance with procedures.
• Participate in safety initiatives and comply with all site requirements.
