Job summary

Workforce Training Centre WA, the registered training organisation of Linkforce, seeks a Trainer and Assessor to deliver engaging mining-focused training at the Kewdale Training Centre. This full-time, permanent role sits within an internal education framework and supports safety, competency, and career progression for our workforce.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, have mining-industry experience, and be capable of delivering AQF Level2/3 units.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/40122 or equivalent) required.
• Recent mining industry experience to deliver AQF Level2/3 units and above.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience delivering safety-focused training in mining is desirable.
• Industry qualifications at the level being delivered or above.
• WorkSafe Accredited Assessor across HRWL classes is desirable.
• BHP endorsed Practical Assessment accredited Assessor is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, practical, and compliant accredited and non-accredited training programs.
• Facilitate accredited and non-accredited courses including safety-related modules.
• Maintain current industry knowledge and uphold compliance and training integrity.
• Develop, review and maintain training resources to support learner engagement and job-ready outcomes.
