Job summary

Linkforce’s Workforce Training Centre WA in Kewdale, Western Australia, has an opportunity for a motivated Trainer and Assessor. This full-time, permanent role focuses on delivering accredited and non-accredited training to our internal workforce, with a commitment to practical, safety‑focused learning.

You will run courses such as Work Safely at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres, Fire Safety, and Manual Handling, while maintaining compliance and updating resources.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/40122 or equivalent).
• Recent mining industry experience; AQF Level2/3 delivery.
• Supervisory experience.
• Experience delivering safety-focused training, preferably mining.
• Industry qualifications at the level being delivered or above.
• WorkSafe Accredited Assessor across HRWL desirable.
• BHP endorsed Practical Assessment Accredited Assessor desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, compliant training programs (accredited and non-accredited).
• Facilitating accredited & non-accredited courses covering Work Safely at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres, Fire Safety, Manual Handling.
• HRWL training and assessing within your scope, if applicable.
• Practical VOC assessments and refresher training.
• Leadership and foundation skills training as required.
• Maintain current industry knowledge, compliance, and collaborative practices to support learner outcomes.
• Support quality assurance, validation and development of training resources.
