Myndshift Group has partnered with a leading mining asset owner and is seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor for a well-established coal operation in Central Queensland. The role involves delivering surveying services across the operation, ensuring plans and activities are carried out safely and accurately.

• Experience as Mine Surveyor in an operating mine environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Surveying or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of open-cut coal mining survey practices.
• Experience with mining survey software and technology.

Myndshift Group has partnered with a leading mining asset owner that is firmly in growth mode, and we are seeking an experienced Mine Surveyor to join their team at a well-established coal operation in Central Queensland.

About the Role:

Working on an 8/6 roster, you will play an integral role in supporting safe and efficient mining operations through the delivery of accurate surveying services across the operation.

You will work closely with the technical services and mining teams, providing high-quality survey data and technical support to ensure mine plans and operational activities are delivered safely, accurately and efficiently.

About You:

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor with a strong background in the mining industry, ideally with exposure to open-cut coal mining.

You will ideally have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Mine Surveyor within an operating mine environment
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Surveying or a related discipline
• Strong understanding of open-cut coal mining survey practices
• Experience with mining survey software and technology
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
• The ability to work effectively within a collaborative technical services team
