Job summary

MACA seeks an experienced Serviceperson to join the Dingo Range Gold Project on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth. You will perform scheduled servicing and inspections on heavy mining equipment, conduct greasing, check fluids, and identify defects for maintenance teams.

A strong focus on safety and independent work is required in this role. Ideal candidates will have mine site service experience and an Australian HR Driver Licence, with proven ability to operate heavy equipment for maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous mine site experience as a serviceperson.
• Australian HR Driver Licence is a must.
• Experience servicing heavy mobile mining equipment like Komatsu, CAT etc.
• Ability to operate equipment for maintenance and inspection purposes.
• Ability to monitor plant and equipment condition, identify & report oil and fuel leaks, whilst ensuring oil, grease and fuel are stocked.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge and ability to follow Work Health & Safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing and routine maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Conduct daily and pre-start inspections of mobile equipment.
• Carry out greasing and lubrication of machinery in accordance with manufacturer and site requirements.
• Inspect equipment for leaks, damage, wear and defects.
• Identify and report mechanical defects and maintenance requirements to the relevant supervisor or maintenance team.
• Carry out fluid level checks and top-ups.
