Job summary

MACA is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join the Dingo Range Gold Project in Western Australia, working a 2/1 or 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth. We welcome fitters specialised in diggers and maintenance on Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT equipment.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and timely servicing, with an expected focus on reliability and safe operations. Trade qualification and a can-do attitude are essential, with HR licence preferred and open-pit mining

Qualifications

• Trade certificate is required.
• Open pit mining experience is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across fleets and machines.
• Excellent communication and safety-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on heavy mining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and related faults.
• Conduct planned servicing, inspections and condition monitoring activities.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and respond to equipment failures promptly.
• Conduct mechanical inspections and identify potential component failures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer information to aid fault finding.
• Participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and maintenance planning.
• Maintain a strong focus on equipment reliability and reducing downtime.
