MACA are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team at the Dingo Range Gold Project, working a 2/1 or 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth. We’re also looking for HD Fitters specialised in Diggers.

Key duties include preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and timely breakdown repairs across a range of mining equipment. MACA offers competitive salary, bonuses and health benefits, with long-term growth opportunities within WA’s mining sector.

Qualifications

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate required.
• Experience in open pit mining environments preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across multiple fleets.

Responsabilités

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and associated equipment faults.
• Conduct planned servicing, inspections and condition monitoring activities.
• Perform breakdown maintenance and respond to equipment failures in a timely manner.
• Conduct mechanical inspections and identify potential component failures.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer information to assist with fault-finding.
• Participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, safety interactions and maintenance planning.
• Maintain a strong focus on equipment reliability and reducing unplanned downtime.
