Job summary

Barto Gold is seeking a diligent Purchasing & Supply Officer for its Southern Cross operations in WA. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, raise requisitions and POs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

Strong ERP experience and stock control are essential in this fast-paced mining environment. You will liaise with Maintenance, Processing, Projects, Finance and Warehouse teams, driving improvements in procurement processes and inventory accuracy while

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role within mining, resources or a comparable industrial environment.
• Strong ERP system skills with demonstrated purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of procurement processes including requisitions, purchase orders, expediting, receipting and compliance.
• Experience with stock reordering and maintaining accurate inventory information within ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Source quotations and engage with suppliers to achieve compliant and best-value purchasing outcomes.
• Monitor and expedite outstanding orders to ensure materials and services are delivered within required timeframes.
• Provide purchasing advice and support to operational stakeholders.
• Coordinate freight logistics, including scheduled freight, urgent deliveries and hot shots.
• Monitor inventory levels, reorder stock and maintain accurate stock information within the ERP system.
