Job summary

HVO Hunter Valley Operations invites applications for a Pump Operator role within our mine services team. You will install, operate and troubleshoot pumps, ensuring safe, efficient performance in a demanding mining setting.

Key duties include monitoring pump systems, performing inspections, maintaining records, and adhering to safety protocols. NSW driving licence and a pro-active attitude are essential for success in this on-site role at the Hunter Valley site.

Qualifications

• Must have NSW Driver's Licence and a strong focus on safety.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to keep accurate records of pump operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pump performance and adjust settings to optimise operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of pump systems for wear, leaks or faults.
• Follow operational plans and safety guidelines at all times.
• Report deviations to the Mine Services Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of pump operations and spare parts inventory.
