Job summary

Harmony Gold Mining Company Limited is seeking a Manager Projects (Mining) to lead a portfolio of mining development projects from feasibility through funding and into early works and execution. The role is a Brisbane-based permanent position with PNG travel required, typically monthly, on a 9 days on / 5 days off cycle; some work-from-home days are possible in Brisbane.

You will oversee sustaining capital and major growth initiatives across mining, process plant, surface and underground

Qualifications

Significant experience across mining or heavy industry projects from concept to delivery.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management across multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, planning, and execution skills under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead mining development projects from feasibility through funding and early works to execution.
Manage sustaining capital and major growth projects across mining, process plants, and underground infrastructure.
Ensure robust risk and change management and contract governance.
Coordinate with an experienced delivery owners' team and interface across sites in Australia and PNG.
