Job summary

Redpath is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, schedule and coordinate site projects from concept to completion, supporting safe and productive mining operations through effective delivery, quality assurance and cost control.

You will build client relationships, manage ITPs, monitor performance with KPI reporting, and lead safety enhancements while coordinating subcontractors and resources.

Qualifications

• DegreeQualifications in Mining, Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering field.
• Experience as Project Engineer in underground mining, mining services or heavy industry.
• Strong project planning, scheduling and reporting capabilities.
• Understanding of contract management, quality systems and risk management.
• Experience managing project costs, forecasts and KPI reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and deliver site projects aligned with contract requirements and targets.
• Provide engineering support, quality assurance and compliance to specifications.
• Lead safety leadership through inspections, risk management and corrective actions.
• Manage project quality, environmental and non-conformance processes and ITPs.
• Monitor performance and prepare production, cost and KPI reporting with forecasts and monthly updates.
• Coordinate subcontractors, hired plant, and project resources for continuity and delivery.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships with regular updates.
