Job summary

PERSOL Australia is seeking an experienced Portfolio Management professional for a Sustaining Capital Projects team within a major mining operation in Australia. You will oversee a portfolio from inception through to handover, managing approximately $20M-$40M in annual spend and leading a team of about six direct reports.

The role requires Tier 1 client-side mining experience, an engineering degree, and strong capital budgeting and financial management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 client-side mining experience is mandatory.
• Engineering degree or tertiary qualification is required.
• Strong capital budgeting, forecasting and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of sustaining capital projects from inception to handover.
• Oversee approximately $20M-$40M annual capital expenditure.
• Manage six direct reports and project performance across the portfolio.
• Align monthly expenditure with annual budgets and targets.
• Provide governance on scope, cost, schedule, risk and delivery.
