Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking an OT Systems Technician at Cowal to maintain fleet management systems, wireless networks, and digital radio infrastructure. You will diagnose faults on heavy equipment, configure hardware, and install GPS and IoT devices to improve site coverage.

The role blends hands-on field work with mining technology, remote communications, and IT systems, offering opportunities to deepen technical capability and contribute to operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, solar, communications, wireless networks (Cisco Mesh, PTP links, PTMP links, Tetra Systems MotoTRBO) and infrastructure desirable.
• Experience or knowledge of High Precision GPS systems (Trimble) is desirable.
• Experience in Mining Technology / Fleet Management Systems (MineStar) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cowal’s fleet management systems and wireless networks.
• Diagnose comms and network faults on heavy equipment.
• Configure hardware and improve site coverage across the operation.
• Install high precision GPS and IoT devices; support MineStar and digital radio systems.
