Job summary

Newmont Australia is seeking a Service Technician to support the reliability and safety of the mining mobile fleet at the Boddington mine in Western Australia. You will perform planned servicing, preventative maintenance and equipment inspections as part of the Maintenance team on site.

The role requires experience in large mobile equipment servicing, a current C-Class license, and a strong safety mindset. You’ll operate on a 7/7 roster, with camp accommodation provided, and collaborate with

Qualifications

• Experience in a mobile fleet servicing role within mining or heavy industry.
• Experience carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on large mobile equipment in open-pit mining.
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence; CAT 773/777 experience highly regarded.
• Forklift and dogging tickets are desirable; basic computer skills for maintenance systems are useful.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance across the Mining Mobile Fleet, including routine inspections and fluid servicing.
• Identify and report equipment defects and maintenance requirements to support safe, timely maintenance outcomes.
• Complete servicing activities in line with site safety systems, including risk assessments and permits.
• Complete work orders, time confirmations and maintenance records to required standards.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Warehouse and Tool Store teams to coordinate parts and consumables and contribute to continuous improvement.
