Thiess seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the Curragh North Project in Central Queensland. You will lead maintenance across mobile equipment, driving safe, high-performing teams and maximizing fleet availability and reliability.

Responsibilities include coaching maintenance personnel, coordinating activities, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining a strong safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Extensive mobile maintenance experience in mining environments.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and community.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of mining legislation and site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop maintenance personnel while fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
• Coordinate and execute maintenance activities to achieve fleet availability and schedule compliance.
• Manage maintenance budgets and support incident investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Monitor maintenance costs, resources and KPIs to maximize equipment availability.
