Job summary

Emeco is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for a mining site in Western Australia on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster. You will develop and coordinate maintenance plans to maximise equipment availability, while supporting asset management, preventive maintenance, statutory compliance and defect management with minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience planning maintenance for heavy mobile equipment in mining.
• Experience with CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment.
• Strong experience using CMMS systems (AMT or similar).
• Excellent scheduling, planning and workload management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a rolling current week +2 maintenance plan.
• Plan preventative maintenance, statutory inspections and defect repairs to maximise fleet reliability.
• Prioritise and manage the maintenance backlog to meet targets.
• Coordinate labour, parts, tooling and external service providers to ensure work is execution-ready.
• Schedule execution of CMMS workorders and provide feedback on completion.
• Balance workloads with available labour and operational requirements.
• Lead weekly and daily maintenance planning meetings with stakeholders.
• Support breakdown events by coordinating components and repair strategies to minimise downtime.
• Ensure work orders are completed and closed in CMMS.
• Identify early failures and warranty opportunities with Central Asset Management.
• Drive continuous improvement across maintenance planning processes.
