Job summary

Thiess is seeking a highly organised Maintenance Planner to join the Eva Copper Mine Project team in North West Queensland. You will plan and schedule maintenance across mobile plant, aligning with OEM recommendations and site strategies to maximise equipment availability and reliability.

You will collaborate with Maintenance, Mining and Processing teams, contribute to reliability improvements, and enjoy ongoing training, a competitive salary package, and flexible lifestyle options.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Diesel Fitter) or relevant Engineering qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning role within mining, resources or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of mobile plant maintenance practices and OEM maintenance requirements.
• Experience using maintenance planning, scheduling and asset management systems.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance and environmental standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across Maintenance, Mining and Processing teams.
• Experience supporting reliability improvement initiatives, condition monitoring programs and maintenance strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance plans for mobile plant and equipment in line with OEM recommendations and site maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, breakdown repairs, labour, parts, tools and resources to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to production.
• Monitor equipment reliability, maintenance performance and planning effectiveness while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site operations
