Whitehaven Coal Limited is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for Tarrawonga Mine in New South Wales. You will service and repair heavy mining equipment, focusing on electric-drive haul trucks and HV systems, with a safety-first approach in both workshop and field settings.

Qualifications

• Holds a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and HV electrical licence.
• Current HV electrical licence is held.
• Commitment to safety in hazardous environments.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with electric-drive mining trucks.
• Current driver’s license.
• Able to pass Order 45 medical.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative and unplanned maintenance on electric drive haul trucks (Hitachi EH4000-2/3).
• Diagnose and rectify faults across HV electrical systems.
• Work effectively across workshop and field environments.

Formation

Certificate III in Electrotechnology

Current High Voltage Electrical Licence

Commitment to safety

Strong problem solving, diagnostic and fault finding skills

Experience with electric-drive mining trucks

Current driver’s license

Able to pass Order 45 medical
