Job summary

Alcoa Corporation is seeking a Health & Safety Manager for WA Mining to lead strategic and operational HSE initiatives at Huntly and Willowdale. Based on site, you will partner with senior leaders to strengthen risk management, auditing and incident prevention, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

You will build capability, lead cross-functional teams, and champion a culture where everyone goes home safe. This permanent role offers a Monday to Friday roster and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior health and safety leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation.
• Proven ability to influence, coach and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE strategies and risk controls.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive safe outcomes and capability building.
• Provide expert advice, coaching on HSE, emergency response, contractor management and site security.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering engagement and accountability.
• Drive incident prevention, audits, investigations and governance activities.
• Champion Alcoa's commitment to ensuring everyone goes home safe every day.
