Job summary

Thiess is seeking Production Mining Operators – Haul Truck (mechanical) for permanent full-time at the Caval Ridge Project in Moranbah, QLD. The role offers a 7/7 rotating roster (days/nights) and 12.5‑hour shifts, with DIDO or BIBO only (no FIFO).

You will operate heavy mining equipment safely, apply safety standards, and contribute to production targets. Applicants should have at least 1 year of haul truck experience in coal mining, SSE-signed skills, and a current Drivers Licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience operating Haul Trucks (mechanical) in a coal mining environment.
• SSE-signed, verified skills list (training transcripts) and LMS documentation.
• Standard 11 – Statement of Attainment.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Previous Dispatch experience highly regarded.
