Job summary

WorkPac is seeking reliable Labourers for FIFO opportunities in the Northern Territory's mining and resources sector. You will perform general labouring tasks on a 2:1 roster with 12-hour day shifts and may be based on-site at a major NT site, with FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Darwin.

Starting candidates must be available on 10 or 17 November 2026 and able to complete pre-employment medical and D&A screening. Weekly pay applies, with ongoing work through to late June 2027.

Qualifications

• Current Construction White Card.
• Experience in mining, civil construction or industrial environments.
• Experience using power tools and performing general labouring duties.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work a 2:1 roster with 12-hour day shifts.
• Availability to commence on 10 or 17 November 2026.
• Ability to attend a pre-employment medical next week.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Ability to complete all site inductions.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general labouring duties across the site.
• Digging and assisting with site preparation activities.
• Using power tools as required.
• Assisting with general site works and labouring tasks.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe work environment.
• Completing site clean-up duties.
• Following all site safety procedures and requirements.
• Working collaboratively with site personnel to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
