Job summary

Next Level Consulting Solutions is seeking experienced Boilermakers, Welders and Metal Fabricators for a full-time, on-site mining role in New South Wales, Australia. You will work in heavy structural steel fabrication and earthmoving equipment, interpreting drawings and welding to high standards.

The role requires a Cert III in a relevant trade and a minimum of 3 years in a comparable position, with emphasis on safety and teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years full-time in a comparable position.
• Cert III in Relevant Trade.
• Experience mining environments and on mining plant/equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for metal fabrication projects.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components per plans.
• Operate manual or automated cutting/shaping/bending equipment.
• Perform welding using Arc, MIG, Stick and Flux Core techniques.
• Read welding blueprints to determine requirements.
• Prepare workpieces by cleaning, cutting and fitting metal components.
• Follow welding procedures and ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal structures for mining infrastructure.
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow OH&S requirements.
• Collaborate with team to optimize fabrication processes.
• Complete projects within timelines and budgets.
• Record materials used and production timelines.
