Job summary
Rapid Electrical Service is seeking multiple mining electricians to join our Mackay team. Roles include CHPP maintenance, shift relief, projects and general site work across Bowen Basin, with roster options like 4/3, 7/7 DIDO and 9-day fortnights.
Permanent full-time roles with $65–$75/hr, paid travel on roster days, overtime options and long-term job security. Work alongside experienced crews in a locally owned company that values safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
- Current Queensland Driver Licence.
- Current LVR/CPR.
- Ability to work DIDO rosters across Bowen Basin.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Reliable work history and professional attitude.
- Good communication skills with clients and site teams.
- Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Hazardous Areas competency are beneficial.
