Job summary

Bengalla Mining Company in Muswellbrook, NSW, is seeking skilled Electricians to join the Maintenance Team. You will perform preventive, corrective and shutdown maintenance on the HME fleet, both in the workshop and in the field, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will protect equipment by diagnosing faults, conducting scheduled maintenance, mentoring apprentices and contributing to maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification or equivalent plus relevant licences.
• HV switching accreditation or willingness to obtain.
• Experience maintaining heavy mining equipment (Hitachi, Cat, Liebherr, Komatsu).
• Strong diagnosing and troubleshooting background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Sound computer skills.
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Focus on continuous improvement and safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical faults on HME fleet.
• Perform scheduled shutdown maintenance and electrical installations.
• Ensure work meets high safety and quality standards for fleet reliability.
• Assist in developing and improving maintenance strategies.
• Mentor electrical apprentices and contribute to team learning.
• Follow Bengalla Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
